Over the course of a two-year period, I had the opportunity to work within KSU's Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). This professional journey has allowed me to accumulate valuable experiences as I actively participated in a diverse range of projects. The success of these endeavors was the result of dynamic collaboration, harnessing the strengths of both team and individual contributions. This collaborative spirit was nurtured through continuous feedback and open lines of communication, which played a pivotal role in achieving the final polished outcomes.

Overview

I was deeply involved in a diverse range of projects that illustrated the extent of my responsibilities. These projects encompassed tasks demanding meticulous attention to detail, such as crafting comprehensive activity reports, and extended to the realm of creative design, which included the development of brochures, flyers, and conference materials.

On the creative front, my responsibilities extended to the design and production of materials essential for various conferences hosted by CETL. These materials played a crucial role in shaping the overall impression of our events.

Conferences

In our role as a dedicated team of designers, we played a pivotal role in the success of these conferences by creating a wide array of assets tailored to each event. For ISSOTL19, our task was to develop marketing materials, including eye-catching signage that guided attendees, professional stationery for official communication, and distinctive name badges to facilitate networking and identification. Hosted at at The Marriott Marquis in the vibrant city of Atlanta. This conference marked a resounding success, drawing 588 participants from a diverse array of 15 countries. Featuring an impressive lineup of 280 contributed sessions and five invited sessions, all graced by acclaimed international speakers.

Similarly, we worked on conferences such as SUMMIT SoTL and SPACE. Through our creative and strategic design efforts, we aimed to enhance the overall conference experience, leaving a lasting impression on participants and contributing to the overall success of these esteemed gatherings.
